Rebuilt 6’4.5” Grand Piano in Satin Ebony with Nickel-Plated Hardware
Compared to New Steinway A (6’2”) - $137,100
This beautiful instrument is rare and unmatched. Steinway only produced this longer “A” model from 1913 until 1945, and they would not make another “A” until 2005 at only 6’2”. At its heart is its original restored soundboard from the ‘golden-age’ of piano manufacturing, providing a unique and rich tone. Complementing this is a fully rebuilt action complete with new Steinway hammers, restored original ebony-wood sharps, new damper action, timeless satin finish, and the original restored bench. This classic New York instrument is primed for a new century.
Used 5’9” Grand Piano in Satin Walnut
Compared to new pianos in the $25,000-$35,000 range
This 5'9" grand piano has barely been used by its one and only owner. This piano has huge potential at a very low price point for this size grand, and was designed by a Steinway engineer. This era Pramberger typically sells for twice as much as this listing, and comparable new pianos sell for 5x as much. It needs normal maintenance for its age and is ready for a new owner to give it some love and use. It is located in the Parc du Lac subdivision in Mandeville, where I can arrange for you to see it in person.
Used 5’1” Grand Piano in Satin Ebony
Compared to new Model S msrp of $99,000
At only 5’1”, the smallest Steinway model commands a powerful and robust tone. This used piano has been well kept and is in almost unheard of condition compared to other pianos of this age, having been used infrequently over its life. It is located in Hammond and ready for a new owner to bring it back up to speed and enjoy its full capabilities.
Used 5’2” Grand Piano in Polish Ebony
Compared to new pianos in the $13,000 to $18,000 range
This small grand has been loved by its owner and maintained by me for many years here in Mandeville. Its a great entry into grand piano ownership for young students and casual hobbyists. It is ready on day 1 for its new home, and is a very fair deal at this price.
